So far so good. very friendly nice site. Update still five stars. Not sure of the reviewer who said this place was not dog friendly everyone had a pet. We had three never had any problems. Everyone picked up after their pets very nice nature trail had a dog park we were only there two nights but would definitely return very nice park
Awesome Long term RV park. Luke helped guide us to our spot and helped set up. Very friendly. 2 clean and affordable Laundromats. Clean bathrooms. Beautiful clubhouse. Monthly activities for guests.
This is a FYI for those that want to do a long term stay. I have been here for 10 years and for the most part have really enjoyed my stay here. Like most people we all have our ups and downs. I'm not a retired person and therefor work every day. The owner of the park has been understanding with my work and the equipment that I use for my work. I do understand the rules of the park and the owner and I have always had an understanding of those rules. Now there comes a time when staff members leave and new staff is hired. These employees don't always get screened as they should. So with that being said, sometimes people are hire that have issues such as favoritism. They will show leniency to some and not others. Also will break rules because no one is to watch them such as not having their pets on a leash and repermand those that They catch doing the same. Have seen the same when staff doesn't pick up after their own pet. Granted it is hard to get proof and relate this to the owner. I have never taken action on these issues before because I try to keep out of the drama and stick to myself. But do to the resent staff that was hired and the favoritism and prejudice that I've seen, I felt compelled to say something. Most of the reviews that are on this site were done before this staff was hired and are not aware of the circumstances involved and are a year old or older. And these reviews were done by those that stayed a short time. Also wish to say that the owner of the park is one of the most honorable men that I have met in my life but he is not always aware of everything that goes on in the park. I'm am not one to cause conflict but I have to say the staff at present are not worthy of their jobs.
Our most favorite RV park in Bulverde/Hill country! We've stayed here every year for the past 3 years and will continue to do so whenever we're in the area. It's the people--so friendly and helpful--we look forward to seeing them upon each return. Very convenient location--right there near Walmart, library, HEB, even a good thrift store. Our family walks to all of these from the park. Pets are welcome, children are welcome. They have activities scheduled throughout each month, a small exercise room, 2 laundry buildings, showers, and a chapel with Sunday services right there. Great rates, too!
We have been living full-time in our RV a little over a year. Living at Texas 281 RV Park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The park is situated just minutes from San Antonio. They put a calendar every month that lists activities being held. 3 different clubhouses, an exercise room, 2 laundry rooms. Pet friendly, they offer a fenced dog park for 4 footers. It is well maintained. We enjoy taking walks in the park. There is a nature trail. Family owned and operated. So wether you are there for one day or longer. You will be making a wise choice to check and see if they have a vacancy.
